The first thing to do is
to take the pet to a veterinarian to determine if there
are any underlying medical causes of the problem. A vet
may also be able to address any dental issues that are
making it difficult for the dog to chew. Another
suggestion is to add water to the dry food to make it
softer, or try switching to a small bite senior formula.
You can also gradually switch the pet to a canned senior
diet.
Pet Supplies “Plus” carries a variety of
canned senior formula dog foods.
