We provide prototype architectural drawings to assist your architect in developing construction documents. And we assist you with purchasing all the specialized equipment and fixtures needed to set up your store.

Management and employee training

Pet Supplies Plus provides a comprehensive 2-week hands-on training program that focuses on all aspects of the business. The curriculum includes merchandising, product ordering, retail operations, employee scheduling, P&L basics, customer service, cash handling, and daily operational procedures. District Team Leaders (DTLs) will continue to work with franchise owners after you open your store to share ideas and best practices from other stores. Online training modules have been developed for store employees to assist them in becoming product knowledge professionals who can advise about the products and animals sold in our stores. Our training program is held at one of our corporate training stores located throughout the U.S.

The Marketing Team in our Livonia, MI office has developed successful Grand Opening plans — tested and proven with our corporate stores — that are available for your use, as well as an annual marketing and promotional calendar that is available for implementation by every store in the chain.

Our stores carry a broad selection of quality merchandise from the industry's leading manufacturers. We direct franchise owners in selecting the right product mix to carry in their pet supplies franchise store. Pet Supplies Plus creates all store sets and will source approved vendors for products.
