Who is Pet Supplies Plus?
The "plus" is us, i.e., the people of our over 700 stores, 2 distribution centers and Michigan-based headquarters. As the nation's largest independent pet store, we've made it our mission to make life easier for pet parents and to create opportunities that make life better for our team members. While pets inspire us, it's our inclusive work environment and collaborative culture that drive us.

As a company, our dedication to the furry, feathered, scaly and finned can be summed up by four core values we call our "Paw Print." This is our blueprint for success at Pet Supplies Plus and it's based on the idea that every team member should be neighborly, petcentric, trustworthy and knowledgeable.
We Are Neighborly
Our golden (doodle) rule: Do unto pets, neighbors and team members as you would want done unto you. Whether through acts of in-store kindness or by being a good listener, it's everyone's job to always make our stores and workplaces feel welcoming, supportive and helpful.
We Are Petcentric
Brushing fur off our clothes is not new to us. Pets are our muses, so everything we do is for the happiness and wellbeing of dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds and small animals. Plus, we donate to local rescues and shelters while having adoption events throughout the year.
We Are Trustworthy
We believe actions speak louder than words or even barks. Whether you work in front of the store or behind the scenes, our goal is to provide help, not hype. How we do our jobs should instill a sense of calm and confidence that allow neighbors to trust us with their pets.
We Are Knowledgeable
There are lots of pets counting on us, so we do more than learn the names and benefits of different products. We also make it a point to know the wants and concerns of our neighborhood pet parents, empowering them to make well-informed choices.

Local Involvement
At Pet Supplies Plus, we think locally AND act locally. Supporting rescues and shelters in the neighborhoods we live and work in is a year-round passion for us. In addition, we sponsor events and partner with all kinds of organizations that promote the welfare of animals at community and national levels.
