Just book an appointment with our grooming salon. And for stores without a salon, we have walk-in nailBars that offer the same Quick Services.

Leave no paw un-pampered. Located in select Pet Supplies Plus stores, our nailBar is a safe and quick way to take care of your pet’s nail, paw and ear care needs. Make it a doggy diva day by including a bow, bandana, scented spray or nail polish.

While nailBar is a walk-in service, we gladly accept appointments. Service days and hours vary by location, so we suggest calling your local store ahead of time for nailBar availability.

The Importance of Nail Care

Prevent “duck feet” by trimming and/or filing your dog’s nails about once every four weeks. Nails that are too long can lead to a splayed foot, i.e., your pet’s paw gets more widely spread at the front than normal. This can cause a loss of traction in their footing, injure tendons and lead to deformed feet.

Can I cancel an appointment online?

Yes! To view your upcoming appointments, login to your Pet Supplies Plus account. Then, click on the “My Grooming Salon” link. You will be able to view upcoming and previous appointments for your dog.

Do all stores offer nailBar and/or Quick Services?

No, not all stores offer nailBars or Grooming Salons. Use the store-locator to find a store in your area that offers nail and quick grooming services.

Do I need an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins.

Quick Services at our Grooming Salons, such as a nail trim or ear cleaning do not require an appointment. nailBar is a walk-in service, but we gladly accept appointments. All services require proof of rabies vaccination.

Do I need to pay online when I schedule an appointment?

No, payment will be accepted at the store.

Do you tranquilize pets before a bath or groom?

No. If a pet has been given medication in order to sedate it for the service, it cannot be serviced.

Does my dog need to be fully vaccinated?

Yes. In order to maintain a safe, comfortable environment we require all pets to be current on their rabies vaccinations and wait at least 48 hours after vaccinations before checking in for services. Proof of rabies vaccination in the form of paperwork from a veterinarian is required. The waiting period is to make sure the pet has had no reactions to the vaccination. All pets over 4 months must show proof of current rabies vaccination. Some state laws require additional vaccinations. Please contact your local Pet Supplies Plus for details.

How do I book a nail services appointment online?

To book an appointment online log in to your Pet Supplies Plus account. Then click the My Grooming Salon link and the Schedule Appointment button.

How do I know which stores offer online booking?

Go to your Pet Supplies Plus account, click on the "My Grooming Salon" link and then the "Schedule Appointment" button. Once clicked, you will be asked to enter your zip code which will then provide a list of Grooming Salons and nailBars near you.

How far in advance can I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule appointments up to 90 days in advance.

How long do nailBar and Quick Services take?

Services take approximately 15 minutes.

How often do I need to have my pet's nails trimmed?

We recommend that your pet's nails are clipped every 4-8 weeks.

What are nailBar days and hours of service?

nailBar service days and hours vary by store. For more information on your store's nailBar services, call your local Pet Supplies Plus for their hours of operation.

What training/certification do your groomers have?

Our groomers go through a 4-week training class with one of our academy trainers. At the end of this class they must perform field practice under the supervision of an experienced groomer. They must also take an exam at the end of the field practice and receive a passing score to become a groomer at our grooming salon. All salon team members must also take an annual safety test and pass with a perfect score to remain a groomer at our salon.
